Open Leg Rocking tests your ability to perform all of the six Pilates principles:

Concentration: Focus on performing the exercises as the instructor’s cueing directs.

Control: Don’t allow the body to sway, shift or move uncontrollably.

Centering: Be sure your Powerhouse (the musculature in the center of your body) is engaged.

Precision: Move only what is necessary when doing the exercises. Practice economy of movement.

Breath: Make sure to coordinate your movement with your breath. Breathe expansively.

Flow: Move with fluidity as you perform each exercise and as you seamlessly string them together.
